A 90-day cohort to create your best work and finish it, with the accountability to keep going. Painting instruction for simple, expressive work, taught in oils, and you are welcome to use your own materials.

THE STUDIO MOMENTUM CHALLENGE

90 DAYS OF DEEP STUDIO WORK. OCTOBER 1, 2026 TO JANUARY 10, 2027

That series is closer than it feels. What stands between you and it is not talent and it is not discipline.

It is a container. A rhythm you trust, a process you can repeat, and someone holding the finish line steady while you walk toward it.

Fifteen years of painting and exhibiting taught me that. These ninety days are built on it.

You can already picture it. The paintings hanging together. The colors you have been carrying around for months. The moment you step back and know it is finished.

YOU HAVE A COLLECTION OF NEW WORK WAITING.

- Tracy von Ahsen

She meets you with resources and strategies for your craft that are practical, specific, and immediately usable. Then she takes you deeper. Kat creates a steady container where what is blocking you becomes impossible to ignore, which is where real, sustained change happens.

"Working with Kat cracked me open in ways I wasn't expecting."

real results

There is a body of work already forming in your mind. You want the structure and the accountability to bring it all the way into the room.

THE SERIES YOU KEEP PICTURING

You are ready to paint what you actually see. Your subjects, your marks, your voice, in work that could not have come from anyone else.

WORK THAT SOUNDS LIKE YOU

You want three sessions a week that fit your real life and still feel like yours in month three. A pace you enjoy keeping, not one you survive.

A RHYTHM YOU LOOK FORWARD TO

THIS IS FOR YOU IF

I have exhibited internationally for over fifteen years, and the outside always follows the inside. Every opportunity I have been given traces back to a season where I showed up in the studio and finished something I cared about.

Recognition does not come from potential. It comes from production.

The showing. The selling. The recognition. The collectors, the galleries, the invitations that seem to arrive from nowhere. None of it begins on a screen or in a gallery window. It begins quietly, alone, where your hand meets the surface and nobody is watching.

EVERYTHING STARTS AS SOUL WORK

here is the truth.

this is for you.

Celebrate the work with the group at our live exhibition in January 2027.

HOW IT WORKS

Ninety days of community accountability, a studio rhythm you can hold, and one complete painting demonstration start to finish, an interior, filmed in oils. Plus my materials list, the frameworks I return to, and how I find references and inspiration.

This is an accountability cohort with instruction inside it, not a technique library. There is no one on one critique. What you get is a group that expects to see your work, and a finish line in January.

TECHNIQUE & MATERIALS

What You Get.

✦ 01. Permission. Choose the work you actually want to make next. Not what you feel obligated to make, and not what you are already known for. The idea you have been carrying and have not made yet, just for you.

✦ 02. Your schedule and rhythm. Set a weekly rhythm that fits your real life, with a studio setup that gets you painting before you have time to talk yourself out of it.

✦ 03. Gather and sketch. Studies, references, and inspiration, so you always know what comes next.

✦ 04. Begin. Move past the hesitation and the old beliefs, so starting becomes the easy part of your week.

✦ 05. Finish. Hold the rhythm at your own pace and take at least one work all the way through to done.

✦ 06. Share and celebrate. Bring the work into the world with the group in January.

✦ BONUS. My painting process. One complete interior, start to finish, in oils.
