I am Ekaterina Popova. I am a contemporary artist, certified master coach, and the founder of platforms dedicated to championing artists around the globe. I am here to help you build a deeply fulfilling art practice, a brand that attracts the right support and opportunities, and a business that honors your vision.
As an internationally exhibited oil painter born in Russia, my studio practice is where everything begins. My work explores home, identity, and belonging through rich interiors and landscapes, drawing on post-impressionism, fauvism, and magical realism. I have completed international residencies across France, Iceland, and Greece. Painting is a meditative practice for me: slowing down, noticing the light, and telling stories through color and form. That same reverence for the creative process guides everything I do when mentoring others.

Over the last fifteen years as an artist and entrepreneur, I have learned one fundamental truth: artists deserve to have a good life. Too many of us are handed an outdated script that says we must keep our prices mysterious, suffer for our craft, and never admit that we want financial security. I chose to tear up that script.
From my kitchen table, I built Create! Magazine, grew a podcast to over a million downloads, co-published two bestselling books, and created a multi-six-figure business, all while painting from a home I love. I did not do this to show off what is possible. I did this to build a roadmap so I could turn around and help you do the exact same thing.
You don't have to choose between your highest creative work and ambitious goals. One can lead to the other.

2019: launched my coaching practice. 2020 to 2023: co-authored two bestselling books. Today: ten years fully self-employed, six figures in revenue a year, painting what I love.
2013: my first business. 2016: lost it, quit my day job, and rebranded.
