Working with Kat truly changed the trajectory of my life and career. I began in the gallery world while earning my degree at the School of Visual Arts, but ultimately transitioned into education because I knew I was a teacher at heart. As I became more established as an educator, though, I slowly lost sight of another dream I had always carried with me: opening my own gallery, curating exhibitions, and supporting fellow artists.
When I connected with Kat, I was teaching and writing a blog dedicated to sharing the stories of emerging and under-recognized artists, but I knew there was something more I wanted to build.
